🔒 Privacy-First Approach: UtiliMax is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and store most information locally on your device. No personal information like email, name, or phone number is collected.

Welcome to UtiliMax (All in One Tools). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. Here's exactly what our app does and doesn't collect:

What We DO Collect:

Ad Interaction Data: When you interact with advertisements (clicks, impressions), this data is collected by Google AdMob for advertising purposes. This does not apply to Premium subscribers, who see no ads.
App Preferences: Your app settings (theme preference, language, tool configurations) are stored locally on your device.
Tool Usage History: QR codes you generate/scan and conversion history are stored locally on your device for your convenience.
Device Capabilities: We check if your device has a camera, flash, and microphone for app features to function properly.
Subscription Status: Your subscription purchase status is managed and stored by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We store a local cache of your premium status on your device to enable offline access to premium features.

What We DO NOT Collect:

Personal information (name, email, phone number)
Location data or GPS coordinates
Analytics or usage tracking data
Crash reports or performance data
Photos or images (camera is preview-only)
Audio recordings (Speech-to-Text is processed in real-time and not stored)
Contact information
Device fingerprinting data
Browsing history or network activity
File system access beyond app data
Payment card information (all payments are processed by Apple or Google)

Important: Firebase Analytics is explicitly disabled in our app. We do not track your app usage or collect analytics data.

2. How We Use Your Information

The minimal data we collect is used solely for:

App Functionality: To provide the tools and features you expect (calculator, converters, QR tools, TTS, STT, etc.)
User Experience: To remember your preferences and settings locally
Tool History: To provide convenient access to your recent QR codes and conversions
Advertising: To display relevant ads through Google AdMob (free version only)
Subscription Management: To verify and maintain your premium subscription status for unlocking features and removing ads

We do NOT use your information for:

User profiling or tracking
Marketing communications
Data analysis or insights
Selling to third parties

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: All your personal data (preferences, history, settings) is stored locally on your device using secure local databases. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly delete and reinstall the app.

Subscription Data: Your subscription purchase receipts and billing information are stored and managed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not have access to your payment methods, credit card numbers, or billing details.

Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect your locally stored data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services with limited data sharing:

Apple App Store / Google Play Store

We use Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store for app distribution and in-app subscription payment processing. When you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information. Please refer to:

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and interaction data according to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see ads and no ad-related data is collected for them.

Firebase Remote Config

We use Firebase Remote Config only for app configuration (like ad settings). No personal data is shared with Firebase, and Firebase Analytics is explicitly disabled.

Camera Access

The app requests camera permission for the Mirror tool and QR code scanner. The camera feed is only displayed in real-time and never stored, recorded, or transmitted.

Microphone Access

The app requests microphone permission for the Speech-to-Text (Premium) feature. Audio is processed in real-time using your device's built-in speech recognition capabilities. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

5. Subscription-Related Data

When you subscribe to UtiliMax Premium:

Your payment is processed by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android). We never see or store your credit card or payment details.
We receive a confirmation from Apple/Google that you have an active subscription, which allows us to unlock premium features.
We store your subscription status (active/inactive), subscription type (monthly/yearly), and approximate expiry date locally on your device for offline access.
No subscription data is transmitted to our servers.
If you cancel your subscription, your premium status will revert at the end of your current billing period.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). Since we don't collect personal data, there are no special privacy concerns for children using this app. Subscription purchases require Apple ID or Google account authentication managed by the parent or guardian.

7. Your Data Control

Since most data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

Clear App Data: You can clear all locally stored data through your device's app settings or our app's "Clear Data" feature.
Uninstall: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
No Account Deletion Needed: Since we don't store your data on our servers, there are no accounts to delete.
Subscription Management: Manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
Ad Preferences: Control personalized ads through your device's privacy settings.

8. Permissions Explained

Our app requests these permissions for functionality only:
